Due to its particular location, right on the tip of the peninsula "Belvedere Point", surrounded by water, this camping ground is a special holiday location. Its own small island, referred to as "Rabbit Island" by the locals, can be reached usually by wading through the water - and if the water levels are really low - through knee deep water or even on dry land!
The terrace type setting, in a typical Mediterranean vegetation, allows one to have a wonderful view of the lake and surroundings from many pitches on Camping San Biagio. There are 161 pitches, all equipped with 220V power (16A), as well as Wireless LAN (WLAN, WiFi). It also has its own Bar, Restaurant/Pizzeria, Market, Harbour, Buoy’s, a slip area, and sanitary rooms with hot and cold water. As a special service we offer you reservation of sites/bungalows.
Should one have the urge to travel lightly, or require accommodation for an extra guest, we also offer 9 Bungalows, each with its own bathroom, (Shower, toilet, bidet and wash basin), kitchen, bedrooms and veranda.
In the vicinity one can find, Tennis Courts, Golf Clubs, Riding Schools, Boat rentals, Disco’s, Bars and Clubs and much, much more. Of particular attraction are the weekly markets that take place each day in a different place, there one can find anything from the local made pottery, to jewellery, fruit and vegetables, meat, fish and cheeses as well as clothing. In the months of July and August there is also an evening market in Manerba every Tuesday evening from 7.00pm until midnight, with entertainment and music. In recent years it has also become possible to visit Isola del Garda, named by the locals as "Castle Island" with its early 20th century Villa built in Neo-Gothic-Venetian style. It was once the home of St. Francis, St. Anthony of Padova and other Italian Royals. But there are also many other culturally interesting places to visit, like the Arena in Verona where one can witness outstanding Opera performances of Aida, La Traviata or many other classics, or Il Vittoriale in Gardone Riviera, the monumental house of well known Italian Poet and Writer Gabriele D’Annunzio to name just a few. For the more athletic guests, a 45 minute walk from the camping place leads one up on the "Rocca di Manerba". The Rocca-Sasso Natural Archaeological Park covers about 90 hectares, where one can see the ruins of a re-discovered Fortress which once dominated the Lake Garda area.
For the internet enthusiast we offer fast Wireless LAN (WLAN, WiFi) access, available on almost all pitches, bungalows and the restaurant.
